Description

Principle of working:

Personnel, during normal activity, generate electro static charge on the human Body and gets stored in capacitance there of (typical 200pf to 250pf) when a person, touches the pad, the  electro static charge slowly discharges to Earth through pad surface.

UREC-ESD Touch Pad with indicator is one of the means of dissipating (neutralizing) electro static charge on human body, when touched with palm. UREC-ESD Touch Pad with indicator are meant for dissipation of accumulated static charges on the personnel entering a static sensitive area. They are to be fixed near the entrance of the building.

UREC-ESD Touch Pad with indicator Installation:

Static discharge pad is wall mounting type this can be fixed at any place in Hazardous or nonhazardous areas with good illumination. The earth terminal is to be connected to earth pit. The static discharge pad should be away from direct sun light .

Maintenance:

UREC-ESD Touch Pad with indicator is to be cleaned daily with a dry cloth to remove surface contamination.
